970 Denny Curtain Wall Project

970 Denny is a mixed-use project juxtaposing a modern, sleek and sculpted 440’ tall tower with a crisp podium structure, featuring 461 apartments and 15,098 square feet of retail space.

Located at the southernmost edge of South Lake Union and the northernmost edge of Denny Triangle in Seattle, WA, the tower is composed of two major, contrasting vertical elements that help to slenderize and break down the mass into an elegant, layered composition of alternating glass colors.

Wheaton Sprague Building Envelope provided structural engineering from level 1 through the Mechanical Screen curtain wall system, as well as associated railings for the building. The glazing subcontractor is Walters and Wolf Curtain wall. The Weber-Thompson designed building is owned by Holland Development, and the General Contractor is Holland Construction.
