Wheaton Sprague Building Envelope seeks an experienced commercial draftsperson for full-time placement in our Stow, Ohio office. We are seeking an individual who wants to be challenged technically and grow professionally. We value a highly productive self-learner with moral integrity. We want a can-do attitude and the desire to take ownership and responsibility for one’s work.
We are opening this position up to more than someone with curtain wall experience. They must have experience in the commercial construction industry, having utilized recent versions of AutoCAD to provide shop and fabrication drawings in a heavily-detailed commercial environment. Possible potential fits could include those who have worked in steel design, pre-cast panel, concrete, wood or other construction realms. The candidate could have experience in masonry design, pre-cast work, the louver industry, or any type of construction-oriented background. Curtain wall / cladding experience preferred, but not required.
Significant experience with current versions of AutoCAD is a must. Experience in Revit and Inventor or other emerging design programs are a plus.
Educational background in architectural drafting or in architecture would be appropriate.
