The building was originally built in 1972, and was extensively refurbished in 2006 to include renovated lobbies / restrooms, upgrades to the building systems, extensive exterior skin improvements and the construction of a five level, 1,400 car garage. Mark Coulis was the Senior Consultant responsible for the problem of assessment of air and water infiltration through the exterior cladding of the existing building, and then the design development, the construction documentation and construction administration for the exterior re-clad renovation.
