Mr. Herchek is a business professional who has devoted his 26-year career to ensuring the operational soundness of the organizations that he has served, through general management and project management, with both for-profit and non-profit organizations.
As Project Manager, Mr. Herchek will provide client management, technical direction and responsibility for work products on monumental curtain wall projects. He will be responsible for managing the interface between client and team, and providing project oversight. Ensuring that client needs are met for each project, Chris will work to keep projects on time, on task, and within budget.
Having served the building envelope industry as Project Manager at such notable companies as MK Architectural of Ohio, Harmon, Inc. of Minnesota, Architectural Wall Systems of Texas, and PPG of Pittsburgh, Chris comes to us as a process-oriented, analytical, conceptual, and innovative professional with proven organizational, communication, and problem solving skills.
Notable projects on which Chris has performed as Project Manager include: Dallas Main Center - Dallas, TX; One Atlanta Center - Atlanta, GA; Howard Hughes Center - Los Angeles, CA; 590 5th Avenue – New York, NY; Fifth Avenue Place - Pittsburgh, PA; One Nationwide Plaza –Columbus, OH; Office Campus - Multiple Buildings; 5 floors ea, Milton Keynes, UK; Johns Hopkins Medical Center - Baltimore, MD; IBM Office Building Retrofit - Baltimore, MD; Judiciary Office Building – Washington, DC; Commerce Place –Baltimore, MD; Case Western Reserve University Science Center - Cleveland, OH, and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center - Pittsburgh, PA.
Chris has two children, 12 year-old Hallie and 9 year-old Christian. For many years, Chris has coached and will continue to coach his son’s youth Soccer and Baseball teams. In addition to volunteering at his children’s schools, Chris also volunteers at his church and is a long-time member of the Finance Board there. In his “spare time”, Chris enjoys traveling with his children and spending time being actively involved in their many other activities.
