Wheaton & Sprague announces Bloomington, MN Branch
STOW, OH. – The building envelope engineering and consulting firm of Wheaton Sprague (WS) is pleased to formally announce the formation of a regional branch office in Bloomington, Minnesota, effective January 1, 2011.
Having operated as a satellite office throughout 2010, Wheaton & Sprague has recently assembled an engineering and design / drafting team with the ability to provide full-service engineering services on standard and custom curtain wall projects for our building envelope clients. In accordance with the company’s strategic plan, and with our current additions, we have updated the status from a satellite office to a branch office.
Joel D. Ray, P.E., has recently been hired as Senior Engineer for the Bloomington Branch Office. Joel is a creative, motivated, professional engineer with nine years in the building envelope / curtain wall industry and significant blast analysis and engineering experience as well. He will perform structural engineering services including blast engineering services for curtain wall, panel systems, stone systems, as well as other facade types and architectural components of the building envelope. He comes to Wheaton & Sprague with an excellent track record of client care. Most recently, Joel was employed by Larson Engineering, Inc. in White Bear Lake, Minnesota as Senior Project Manager in the Curtain wall Department.
M. Scott Forsberg has been hired as Senior Designer for the Bloomington Branch Office. Scott is an accomplished system designer and production designer with over twenty years’ experience, who has worked in both the commercial curtain wall industry, as well as in the design of residential homes. At Wheaton Sprague, Scott will be responsible for presale design concepts and design drawings, proposal presentations and demonstrations, research and development of new products, and production drawings for our clients. For the last nine years, Scott has been the sole proprietor of MSF Design, LLC in Minnesota, having provided production and design services for many curtain wall projects.
